I, _________________ am writing to protest the interference of our government in any and all agencies from coercing or in any way shape or form influencing the medical care or all medications prescribed by my physicians whether for chronic pain management, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or any other medical conditions that are treated by my doctors.
The doctors need to be released from the threat of losing their medical license if they do not comply with the new Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). Power must be given back to the doctors to treat and prescribe medications based on our medical conditions so they can treat their patients as they see fit without repercussions from the state and federal government agencies unless the doctors are breaking the law in some way shape or form other than non-compliance with the new CDC guidelines or DEA.
If these newly issued CDC guidelines against opioid prescriptions to treat chronic pain are not repealed immediately and the appropriate decisions for our medical treatment given back to our physicians, thousands of people will die as a result. It is wrong and inappropriate for any government agency to dictate the treatment or medications prescribed for any patient. These new CDC guidelines do not take into account a patients medical conditions, injuries, surgeries, tolerance, pain level, size, weight, metabolism, race, sex, ethnicity or what medication works for each patient.
Additional information concerning the new CDC guidelines showing the impact it will have on millions of people can be found on the website www.chronicpainsufferersunite.com
We insist that as our representatives that you do everything in your power to stop the CDC, DEA and other state and federal agencies from the practice of dictating what my doctors can and cannot prescribe to me to treat my medical conditions.
A PETITION IS IN WORK FOR ALL TO SIGN SO WE CAN SEND TO OUR REPRESENTATIVES TO REPEAL THESE NEW CDC GUIDELINES.
